We can't promise G-rated results if you Google the name of this West Ridge restaurant and lounge, but chef-owner Anthony Belter tells us it's innocently named after his favorite hobby. Get your mind out of the gutter--he's taking about basketball. "I know it sounds dirty, but it's actually the name of my basketball team," says Belter, a Kendall College grad who pays homage to his heritage by cooking up his grandmother's meatballs and other Italian fare here. You'll find those meatballs in sandwiches and atop pasta and other simple Italian specialties. Lunch specials include burgers, pastas and the namesake Money Shot sandwich, a BLT with cheese and an over-easy egg. The dining room houses group-friendly semi-private alcoves containing large booths, and DJs spin on weekend nights to create a loungier vibe as the hour grows later. That's when bartenders turn their attention to shaking up fruity martinis such as the Grapesicle, Bazooka Joe and the Watermelon Jolly Rancher. The full menu is available until close, though you'll likely find that appetizers such as wings, baked goat cheese, bruschetta and baked pretzels with jalapeno cheese sauce go better with booze than the heavier dinner fare.
