Amy Lafontant and Joe Alter started this hip downtown Wilmette wine shop and bar "to take wine back" from the corporate minds and big box stores of the area. In addition to a vast selection of bottles from small, artisan wineries, you'll also find enthusiastic, pretension-free advice and totally reasonable prices. Wine tastings are offered Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons, and the shop will gladly host private events. The shop also carries various imported cheeses and tasty breads.
