Mark Steuer (previously of The Gage, Hot Chocolate) is in the kitchen at this neighborhood bar and restaurant serving up Midwestern-inspired fare, craft cocktails, local beer and wine. Located in the basement of the massive building at Ashland, Division and Milwaukee that formerly housed MB Financial Bank, the bank's former vault (complete with safety deposit boxes) serves as the restaurant's lounge. Steuer's dishes change based on the best produce of the season, from chicken wings with ramp buffalo sauce to mussels steamed with chilis, bacon and spring onions. Mixologist Michael Simon offers up a menu of carefully crafted cocktails.
