The team behind Chicago's Siam Rice and Panang are also behind this suburban spot. Thai Thai, which is unrelated to the Chicago restaurant of the same name, draws mostly older couples and families with authentic Thai food and attentive service. The portions are made to be eaten family-style, with the largest table featuring a lazy susan for easier sharing. All sauces are homemade, such as the ground peanut-topped sweet sauce that accompanies the crispy vegetable Thai spring rolls. Other dishes to try include the crispy golden crab, pad see ew with tender, wide rice noodles and beef, and for dessert, the fried banana wrapped in crispy dough and drizzled with chocolate syrup.
