Located a few blocks from the University of Illinois at Chicago campus, this cozy, unpretentious spot is blessed with a menu of tasty breakfast eats. Winning menu items include an array of perfectly cooked omelets, fluffy biscuits and appealing sides. The coffee is Seattle's Best, or order an espresso or cappuccino. The lunch menu can be hit and miss. Favorites include a fried chicken sandwich with an herbed or roasted garlic mayo.
