At this Lakeview eatery, all dishes are made from scratch daily using family recipes that the restaurant has used for more than 30 years. The traditional Northern Indian cuisine can be ordered three ways: By selecting its 24-item buffet; a la carte off the menu or Thali-style, which includes unlimited small plate items. (Drinks, such as a fresh mango, homemade yogurt, honey and milk lassi, are bottomless, too.) All meats are cooked in a tandoor clay oven at 800 degrees; other authentic eats include naan and saag paneer, spinach with homemade cheese, served in traditional style on stainless steel plateware. However, if you're hoping to stop by for dinner, call ahead, as the owners suggest making a reservation several days in advance.
