Former Levy Restaurants chef de cuisine John McLean operates this upscale pizzeria next door to his Urban Burger Bar with a lineup of about 15 pies topped with both locally sourced and imported ingredients. The crisp- and chewy-crust pies come topped with ingredients such as caramelized fennel, sweet onions, goat cheese and mascarpone (pizzia bianco finnochi) and soppressata, tomato, buffalo mozzarella and basil (pizza rossa soppressata) and are prepared in a wood-burning oven imported from Italy. The eatery's sizeable wine bar offers reasonably priced (all bottles are less than $40) Italian, Spanish and South American picks, plus antipasti and bruschetta. For heartier appetites, there's house-made pasta.
