This Lakeview spot has changed hands a couple of times, most recently in the winter of 2011, but the emphasis on traditional Turkish specialties remains constant. Must-try dishes include moussaka, lamb and beef shish kebab, and the sigara borek (crispy pastry rolls filled with zesty feta and fresh parsley). Vegetarians get more than a cursory nod with entrees such as Imam Firinda (baked baby-eggplant stuffed with onions, red peppers, green peppers and pine nuts, topped with mozzarella and homemade tomato sauce) and a meat-free version of moussaka. Most of the seating is at tables, but you can also sit on cushions, Turkish style, in the romantic, fabric-draped dining room. Belly dancers perform Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m.
