Edison Park, prepare for a flashback. When local bar company Ala Carte Entertainment closed Park Place earlier this season, we wondered what new concept they’d cook up next. Turns out they've actually resurrected the Snuggery, the neighborhood bar that reigned at this address from 1974 to 1991. Grab a bar stool at the oak island bar, collaged with sports memorabilia from the '70s and '80s lacquered right into the bartop. A full basic bar and beer selection is augmented with a whimsical shot of the day, which might be a chocolate-covered cherry bomb or a Mini-Guinness (Patron XO and Baileys). A dozen or so booths feature inset TVs for your crew's personal sports-watching, while DJs spin old-school dance and Top 40 tunes on two dance floors in the back, Thursday through Sunday.
