The newly-opened (Spring 2014) brewing company in Evanston boasts a menu from executive chef Grant Carey that mixes various regional American cuisines - including Texas-style BBQ and Midwestern comfort food. The menu includes BBQ meats, woodfired pizzas and more. The bar has 24 taps, with eight featuring a rotation of Smylie Brothers beers and the remaining 16 offering local brews from the Great Lakes areas. The beer list changes periodically, though Smylie's signature beer, a California Common or ‘Steam beer' and a Belgian brew are always on tap.
