Chef/owner Simon Lin, who also owns the popular Little Szechwan, opened this casual Lincolnshire eatery in late 2003. The bistro features a more upscale and diverse menu than its sibling, with Chinese, Japanese and Thai-fusion dishes in addition to sushi. Thai pork purses, with Thai-flavored pulled pork, Asian barbecue sauce, goat cheese and chives in a red pepper coulis, or the Taiwan chicken roll, with Chinese spiced chicken, black mushrooms and vegetables wrapped in a crispy tofu skin with garlic-cilantro sauce are notable starter options. The pan-seared diver scallops with lime-cilantro rice, stir-fried vegetables and a lemon grass sauce, and the Chinese mustard and herb-crusted rack of lamb with ginger-laced sweet potatoes and lamb jus are a sampling of the entree choices. Nigiri and sashimi are sold two pieces per order, and there are a handful of chef's selection platters.
