Roscoe Village now boasts its very own Asian/Latino fusion spot - Si Fu. Opened by restaurant gurus Le Hien (Banh Mi & Co) and Marc Wuenschel (Hutch), the spot features a variety of dishes (tacos, stir fry, apps, salads and burritos) with the option choose a protein and starch, and either make it Latino or Chino. For tacos, Chino means pickled daikon-carrots, cilantro, cucumber, and jalapeno, while Latino means onions, cilantro and lime. The spot also offers soups, such as Chino (clear broth, noodles, pickled daikon-carrots, cilantro, jalapeno) or Latino (red broth, hominy, onion, cilantro, lime).
