Named for fallen White Sox hero Shoeless Joe Jackson, this big bar is connected to the Best Western hotel a couple of miles north of O'Hare and a mile south of the Allstate Arena. Its major attractions are 40 HD TVs and six HD projection screens. The 20 beers on tap fuel the game-time whooping and shoulder slapping. The decor is basic: Lots of framed or encased memorabilia (much of it for sale) line the yellow walls. "Bears" orange brightens the bar countertops and exposed air ducts; a high ceiling accentuates the noise. After the game, a deejay spins current hits nightly. Moderately priced steaks, chops, seafood, pastas and burgers are served in a sunken dining area with five yellow booths and a half-dozen more tables -- all with views of the big screens. Also on hand are darts and an arcade area, which is separated from the dining pit by a cool bat-and-ball fence.
