Whether you're just waking up or you're itching for an omelet at 6 p.m., you'll find what you want at this longstanding Evanston breakfast-focused spot. Since the 1950s, it's been known for the Sarkis special, an omelet stuffed with ham, cheese, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and green peppers. Even with the overwhelming emphasis on that all-important first meal of the day, the restaurant hasn't overlooked lunch. You'll find quite a selection of specialty sandwiches too.
