Glossy birch wall panels and dark-blue ultrasuede banquettes line the room, and video images from local artists are projected onto a main lounge screen, a storefront screen and the floor near the restrooms (which feature 'video mirrors') at this Wicker Park lounge. When in 'restaurant' mode, the lights are a bit brighter and music is relegated to the background to allow guests to focus on the Southeast Asian fare. Chef Maripa Abella's creations include marinated hanger steak with yuzu chimichurri and tempura onion rings, as well as sake-battered fish and chips. As the dinner hour wanes, the mix of low-key house and ambient tunes gets turned up a notch and the focus turns to the full bar and young hipster crowd.
