This Bucktown restaurant from former Terragusto chef/owner Theo Gilbert pairs authentic Italian fare with signature cocktails and an all-Italian wine list. Dishes include new creations and some favorites from chef/owner Theo Gilbert's former Terragusto eatery. Expect to find pasta picks such as black pasta with shrimp and cauliflower and squash-filled cappellacci, plus meaty entrees big enough for two. Pastas and breads are prepared fresh daily, while craft cocktails such as A Farewell to Arms (white tequila, maraschino liqueur, grapefruit juice and fresh rosemary) are made using freshly squeezed juice and other handmade ingredients. You can reserve one of Ripasso's cozy booths or walnut tables, but the eatery plans to keep the 20 or so spots at its communal butche- block tables open for walk-ins.
