Persian cuisine is served in a large space once occupied by Sieben's brewpub and later by a branch of The Berghoff. The brew kettles, now dormant, still glisten behind the mahogany bar. This branch of the original Reza's (in the Andersonville neighborhood) has an airy feel thanks to high ceilings and French doors that face Ontario St. In nice weather those doors open onto a sidewalk cafe which doubles as the smoking section; during foul weather, four tables in a space off the main dining room are reserved for smoking. Though it's not primarily a destination for sports fans, Reza's has a projection screen between the bar and the dining room that beams in major sporting events. A large number of wines are available by the glass.
