While it first opened in April 2008 on the first floor of the Evanston Enterprise Center, Reverence Cafe almost entirely catered to office workers looking for a meal without leaving the building. It only took a few months for word of the good eats here to spread, and now locals from around the area stop in for meals from the 90-percent organic breakfast and lunch menu and organic, fair-trade coffee. Popular items include their eggs benedict, served on a buttermilk biscuit with black forest ham, plus dishes such as brioche French toast and a tarragon chicken sandwich with apples and pecans. Look out for a dinner menu kicking off in mid-August.
