I've been to Reve like 5 times and each time I've had a blast. It's smaller than chicago clubs but the cabanas are great for groups of people especially if you get bottle service and split the bill. This is an upscale place to hang out sort of like The Department -- but with nightclub music. Boys will be boys. Fights happens all the time in Chicago and I still party there.

Lets face it Joliet is Joliet. In the past I attended the old club that was at then Empress Casino and it had the same issues with gangs, drugs, fights etc... It's a shame because it is a nice place they have there at Hollywood Joliet to be ruined with the local area degenerates. By fueling the fire (no pun intended) with women (who not sure if they are interested in men, another subject for another time) bottles of booze that could be used as a weapon and basically kids who can't handle their booze what does everyone expect? Any longtime person from the area will tell you that's how it was before and how it will continue to be today. Has anyone payed attention to the clubs in Downtown Joilet and all the issues they have had? Only natural for them to move on to the next new hotspot in town. I agree with the other 2 who wrote comments praising the club (my opinion they work there or are related to someone who is) its a nice clean place that has potential for great things in Chicago but not Joliet. Yes it is nice that there are cops there and security but from the outside view, it tells me that they are expecting to have issues and problems that's why they are there. Great idea Hollywood but as in the world of real estate it's all about location, location, location...
Joliet Patch March 11,2013.
A man found unconscious in the valet area of Hollywood Casino Joliet Saturday night was apparently the victim of a fight involving nine men, Joliet Police Cmdr. Rich Demick said.
Casino officials initially thought the man had been hit by a car until they reviewed surveillance video and realized that two groups had faced off in a physical altercation at about 4 a.m. Saturday and then fled when the victim went down, Demick said.
Joliet police have no idea what the fight was about, and the victim was described as being uncooperative, he said. Investigators are reviewing casino video in an attempt to identify who was involved so that arrests can be made.
The victim was believed to have a concussion, but was otherwise unhurt, Demick said.

Reve is by way and far the Best "NightClub" anywhere even close to Joliet... Every other bar that has dancing in the Area is a Dirtball Dive that smells like Urinal cakes, Vomit, and is filled with Meatheads and white trash. IF you want to do to a place like that its cool, but not me, I dont want to drink dollar bottles next to some 22 year old idiot who wants to get wasted on 20 bucks and smash his dollar bottle over someones head... Reve is nice, upscale, and there always seems to be more women then men which is nice for a change.. The Bottle Prices are way better then going to the CIty Clubs and it offers an enviroment where I feel safe with plenty of security and police.. I know they just opened and are trying to get more people to come out but I hope they dont lower the prices etc.. too much cause i wouldnt want to see all the cheap drinking idiots show up.. On top of all that Their DJ lineup is the sickest anywhere.. All the DJ's are big time Radio guys from B96 and Kiss FM.. I mean seriously.. You can go out in Joliet and see DJ No-Name Idiot any day of the week, but Reve has all the best from the City on Fridays and Saturdays..

I've been to this place a few times and it's what Joliet needs. There's NOTING out in this area that is nightclub like ... so why not at the casino?!?! Personally, I'm glad there are cops there. That to me says they're trying to keep the riff-raff out. The DJs are the same ones that play in other hot spots throughout the area and they're GOOD. Fun and I'll be there again!

About the club. terrible. trying to be well upscale in an area that will never have a long lasting club. cheap, basic design, way overpriced for the area and the people who have been going are not the people you want to be partying with. As of this past weekend, gang fight broke out. enough said about that. believe me, Ive been to many clubs and bars. this is one place you do not want to go

Went to Reve nightclub last night and it was everything I expected! Before we even walked in the cops were dragging someone out in the middle of the casino "and I should have taken the hint" but I went inside anyways. It looked like a high school dance but with all the best of Joliet all in one room "Thugs, Gangbangers, and Jersery Shore want to be's" This will never be a high scale Chicago style club because well...it's Joliet and this is the type of crowd that has and always will be in this town. They had 2 cops standing on each side of the super small dance floor. That equals 8 cops. That should be a big red flag. I give this place 5 months tops and it will be closed down just like the old Club Che melon that the Empress had before it burned down. Same type of crowd hung out there as well. This club was a bad idea from the get go but if you want to see for yourself then go pay the $10 dollar cover charge "after you lose a crap full of money gambling" Have fun and hopefully you don't get stabbed or shot
