This casual French spot has served bistro classics along with modern, creative dishes to the northwest suburbs since 1992. Founded by Dominique Legeai and Masato Suzuki of Lake Zurich's D & J Bistro, it's been in the hands of Legaei's daughter and son-in-law, Kendall College grads Lorraine and Christopher Barth, since 1997. Look for daily fresh fish options and dishes such as steak frites Parisienne, braised lamb shank, duck confit with Andouille sausage and short ribs over Provencale vegetables. You'll also see specials such as braised rabbit and seared, peppercorn-crusted foie gras with fig and raspberry puree over toasted brioche, plus reasonally priced three-course prix-fixe options and forty wines by the glass.
