Though the southern Quench locations are carryout-focused, this one has a full-service dining area, an entertainment room and an adjoining bar. Frequent live music and events make it regular hangout for the neighborhood crowd. Breakfast offerings include pancakes with bananas, three-egg omelets and smothered turkey chops with eggs and country-style potatoes, while lunch brings highlights such as a Maxwell Street-style turkey Polish, a shrimp-stuffed pizza puff and Southern-fried chicken with buttermilk biscuits and grits. Fried catfish, smothered chicken and pasta primavera with Quench's own Five-Soul seasoning make the dinner lineup.
