Located on office-heavy Wacker Drive just east of the river, Primebar will feed and water hard-working locals from lunch until late -- make that late for the Loop. (11 p.m.). If it feels a touch chainy, that's because it is owned by Restaurants America (operators of Midtown Kitchen & Bar and a slew of Bar Louies) and is modeled after a location in Colorado. The draft list earns local cred with brews from Metropolitan, Three Floyds and Two Brothers on tap. Happy hour-worthy snacks includes staples such as fried calamari and sliders and veer toward the fun and funky with beet lollipops with goat cheese dip, Sriracha-spiced deviled eggs and chimichurri steak pizza. The rest of the menu is dense with choices for lunch or dinner, from seared tuna tacos to a prime-cut sirloin with chipotle butter. You can catch a glance of the game (sound off) on flat screens around the place, but the owners don't consider this a sports bar, per se.
