This tiny storefront on the Argyle Street strip serves up traditional Vietnamese fare at reasonable prices. The namesake pho, of course, is a specialty. The piping hot broth is served in generous portions, loaded with rice noodles and different combinations of meat and veggies. A selection of banh mi, French baguette sandwiches, are available with fillings such as pork meat balls and goat curry. A variety of entrees served with vermicelli or steamed rice round out the almost 200-item menu, from the everyday (shrimp with broccoli) to the more adventurous (stir-fried bitter melon with eggs).
