Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm, the duo behind Boka, Landmark, and Girl & the Goat, are also behind this American bistro in Lincoln Park's Park View Hotel with award-winning chef Paul Virant (of Vie in Western Springs, Ill.) in the kitchen. Known for his ultra-seasonal cooking, penchant for preserving and pickling produce and sourcing ingredients from Midwest farms, Virant is sure to change the menu often, but a $35 three-course menu might feature dishes such as Slagel Farms pork shoulder with spring vegetable giardiniera or crispy Great Lakes whitefish with spinach and onion relish. Supplement your prix-fixe dinner or make a meal out of a lineup of shared plates, from asparagus soup with preserved meyer lemon to gnocchi with morels or smoked beef ribs with garlic mustard chimichurri.
