This spin-off of the original West Lawn location in Chicago, which was started in 1961 by three brothers from Sicily (Palermo is the capital of Sicily), is still owned and operated by members of the founding family. The restaurant, which is best known for its pizza, features deep-dish pan, thin crust and stuffed versions. Other offerings include appetizers like fried calamari and stuffed clams, pasta choices like lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo and heartier fare like veal Marsala, chicken Parmesan and lemon chicken.
