This Lincoln Square location of the Dallas-based gelato chain (Chicago's first store opened in Boystown in 2009) features the same creative concoctions you'll find at the other 40-some cafes nationwide, including a catalog of more than 200 milk-, soy- and water-based and no-sugar-added gelati. Flavors rotate regularly, but you can expect a mix of classics such as lemon, chocolate and hazelnut as well as wild cards like chocolate-jalapeno, strawberry-black pepper and sweet potato-maple syrup. Seasonals such as eggnog make their way into the rotation too. All offerings, made on-site daily, are sold in small 150-gram or large 250-gram sizes. But if a supersized gelato isn't enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, don't panic: Paciugo also serves gelato-based sundaes and shakes.
