Oh Boy is one of a number of specialty boutiques on Armitage Avenue. ''Folk art and primitives'' is how one co-owner describes the gallery shop's wares. In addition to furniture, cow hide pillows and throw rugs, Oh Boy carries works by folk artists, including ''Heaven and Hell boxes'' by photographer Dirk Wallis, cabinets by painter Charlie Heinrich and utensils carved by a retired Sears executive. Prices range from about $4 for a pen to about $3,000 for some paintings and furniture.
