This 215-seat, state of the art, thrust-style theater in the former Mundelein College gymnasium opened in 2012 as the main stage for Loyola productions and is named in honor of Loyola alumnus and comedian Bob Newhart, who graduated from Loyola's Quinlan School of Business in 1952, and his three sisters, who attended Mundelein College, including Joan Newhart, who also served as a Mundelein administrator. It features a scenic shop, lighting shop, costume shop, rehearsal hall-performance classroom, a flexible seat experimental theater in the lower level, a recital hall, additional practice rooms and applied music and recording studios.
