This Avalon Park jazz lounge is best known for its Tuesday night shows with the renowned jazz veteran Von Freeman, who plays his gold-plated tenor saxophone with his quartet until the early morning hours. Freeman's quartet and other performers play to a racially and age-diverse crowd of jazz lovers who hail from all over the city and suburbs. Always friendly and informal to the max, the crowd is typically very attentive to the music while sipping at the multi-colored formica-topped bars in each of three themed rooms.
