The menu at this Lakeview cafe may have names like “Baja Surf Tacos,” “Oklahoma Bacon Cheeseburger” and “Meatball Sub,” but don't be fooled by semantics -- all dishes are 100 percent plant-based. A chain based out of California and helmed by vegan chef and author Tanya Petrovna, entrees include options like the Spring Kale Salad (with crunchy kale, shredded cabbage, apples and avocado in a maple-orange dressing and topped with currants, almonds and tahini) or the Native Nachos (with corn tortilla chips covered in black beans, taco “meat,” chipotle crema, native “cheese,” salsa and guacamole).
