Morgan's on Maxwell is one of my favorite joints. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 12 years now. Morgans was the first decent neighborhood bar/restaurant to open after I moved. It is truly a ‘Cheers’ type of place. And the food isn’t just regular bar food, it sort of doubles as a casual sit down restaurant where you can watch the games and enjoy sports. Even being where it is located, it is not full of only college kids; there is a good, stable crowd. They opened right before the White Sox won the World Series and it seemed to set the tone for the place.
