Proprietor and chef John des Rosiers opens his Italian restaurant with executive chef Phil Rubino also at the helm. Moderno's Italian menu is broken down into pizzas, salads, smalls, pastas, to share and not to share. The recipes are stripped down to five ingredients or fewer. Try the Sicilian anchovy pizza with gin-cured bacon or the garganelli with pancetta, fava beans, sheep's cheese and blueberries.
