After gaining its claim to fame on Travel channel's Man vs. Food, the original Wrigleyville outpost of Lucky's has branched out to University Village. Expect plenty of high-top tables and daily drink specials and, of course, massive Pittsburgh-style sandwiches sandwiches stuffed with hand-cut fries. These tater-topped masses come layered your choice of meat (roast beef, ham, turkey, Italian or Polish sausage), cheese, tomatoes and an oil-and-vinegar cole slaw. It's a Pennsylvania thing, explains proprietor and Pittsburgh native Mike Feczko. There's also a selections of chicken wings, salads and other sides for those who don't want to go all out, along with an extensive selection of domestic and imported beers.
