This West Loop bakery and cafe is due to open on Valentine's Day. The cafe portion will also focus on convenience: Precooked dinners, packaged with reheating instructions, will be on hand to take home. The small dining room, decorated with pictures of owner Marybeth Flynn's mom Loretta, will serve baked French toast with fruit, lasagna, stews and sandwiches made with brisket or roasted turkey. Single-batch cookies and pastries can be paired with coffee served in a French press. Customers who preorder (and prepay for) cakes and pies may be able to get curbside service.
