I tried ordering a steak from Lloyds Chicago for my husband on Valentines Day to be sent to his office for lunch. When I called to place the order they transferred my call five times between the resaurant side which does not deliver and the express side which does deliver. Each time the person on the phone had no idea if they even delivered steak. Finally someone said they deliver steak from the express side and when the person took my order I had to repeat myself 7 times. Being born and raised in Chicago I think I am fairly easy to understand. When the woman repeated my order back she had it incorrect and I had to repeat it an additional 2 times. She tried to hang up without even asking for the delivery address. When I tried to give her the address she eventually had to have another woman get on the line to verify the suite number because apparently the 8 times I repeated it werent clear enough. In the end my husband never got the steak and I was charged anyway. Way to go Lloyds.
