This North Park spot serves traditional Filipino fare two ways: You can order favorites such as lumpia from your waitress, or you can opt for the daily buffet, which is set out in a brightly colored jeepney (a jeep-syle vehicle used as a bus in the Philippines) in the eatery's casual dining room. The buffet includes 20 dishes during the week and 25 or more on weekends. Items tend to change every few days, so if you're craving something specific (chicken adobo or pancit palabok, shrimp sauce-flavored soft noodles garnished with meat and boiled egg, for example) it's best to call ahead to ask what's on the day's menu.
