Lincolnshire Gourmet's second installation (the first is in Lincolnshire, natch) wears many toques - it's a full service restaurant that serves healthy eats and also offers a lively bar scene, a food boutique with specialty foods and a space for private parties from traditional to unusual (think Brazilian fiesta or Hawaiian luau). Stellar starters include the �Trio.� Three signature aioli spreads served with fresh bread, chorizo meatballs or one of the homemade soups. Nice touches include homemade croutons in your chicken caesar salad, house-smoked salmon in the citrus infused salmon salad and house-made dressings. The house-roasted turkey sandwich with arugula, tomato, balsamic vinaigrette and pecan-honey mascarpone will make you forget those chain sub shops. Consider stopping in for Lavazza coffee and sweet treats such homemade cake or chocolate fondue for two. Live music, outdoor seating with fireplaces, free salsa dancing lessons and lots of special parties make this a place to check out in the northern suburbs.
