After looking for a Logan Square location for 8 years, Fabio Sorano and his mom, who co-own Letizia's Natural Bakery and Enoteca Roma Ristorante in Wicker Park, have finally set up camp here. Unlike their original outpost, which divides bakery/coffee shop and restaurant/wine bar into two distinct sections, this spot integrates rustic Italian fare and natural, organic baked goods like homemade Italian donuts into one space. (However, this eatery also sports a sizeable outdoor space--Sorano even grows some veggies and herbs on site in a rooftop garden.) Sandwiches and other light fare are available during the day; at 5, fish and meat dishes like grass-fed steak cooked in a wood-burning oven, plus five homemade pastas, are on hand. Wine and Italian craft beer pairings for each dish are listed on the menu, or you can choose your own vino from 21 Italian wines sold by the glass. The kitchen closes at 11 during the week and midnight on weekends; however, the wine bar, which has a separate entrance, stays open an hour or two later.
