"Las Mananitas," a traditional Mexican song often sung at birthday parties, offers the recipient a good-morning wish. But according to Las Mananitas' restaurant president Jose Guzman, you'll need more than a good-morning wish if you drink too many of his lime-juice margaritas. "They're strong," he warns. Stucco walls, Spanish tile and (taped) Mexican music add to the authentic appeal of this Boystown place, which specializes in regional Mexican cuisine, especially seafood. Las Mananitas remains a favorite destination of the 'hood's gay and lesbian population.
