Klein Art Works is scheduled to close on May 8, 2004.
A little off the beaten track, the gallery and year-round outdoor sculpture garden are well worth the trip. A major Chicago gallery for more than a decade, Klein moved to this location after the major 1989 River North fire. The space is huge, bright and has a rolled steel floor that owner Paul Klein designed himself. It's the best place in the city to see contemporary sculpture (artists represented are both local and international). If abstraction is your thing, this is the spot. To see reproductions of works by Klein artists and other information or to 'chat' online with Paul Klein, check out the gallery's homepage.
