Fish maw, quail eggs and pork tripe are just some out-of-the-ordinary ingredients used at this casual Uptown Thai spot. Pork is king in dishes such as kuwy juub, a noodle soup loaded with marinated pork, pork liver, pork large intestine, crispy pork belly and pork stomach (as well as fried tofu and egg, all served over rice flakes in a seasoned broth) and moo daad deyw, deep-fried, marinated pork jerky. Standard noodle dishes and curries are there for the less adventurous, with traditional steamed rice or Northern-style sticky rice available as sides. Wash it all down with a glass of longan drink, an exotic concoction typically made with dried longan fruit, dates, ginkgo nuts and snow fungus.
