The smoked salmon-, spicy shrimp- and avocado-stuffed West Town roll, named for the neighborhood that houses Kai Sushi, is just one of the restaurant's creative sushi selections. Specialty rolls such as the Dynamite Roll, made with tempura shrimp and crab, can be ordered from the five-seat oak sushi bar or after you settle into a table in the dining room. Kai offers more than 20 different specialty rolls, including one -- the Flaming VIP -- that's served on a dish that's literally on fire. The menu also includes starters such as seared tuna and miso soup. Kai is also BYOB, so you’ll need to pick up your adult libations at the liquor store next door.
