Lois Lee and her husband, David, who also operate Hot Woks Cool Sushi locations in Old Irving Park (the original), on Michigan Avenue and in Roscoe Village, are also behind the latest location of the pan-Asian spot across the street from the Willis Tower. Clocking in at more than 3,000 feet, it's the biggest Hot Woks yet. Special dishes offered at this location include the Oceano roll (octopus rolled with cilantro, jalapeno and avocado topped with super-white tuna and spicy mayo) and the salmon bacon salad with red tobiko, cranberries, honey-dill dressing and crisp pan-fried salmon. Mixologist Chi Gonzalez dreamed up the whimsical cocktail menu, which features sips such as the bourbon and cherry rum-spiked Thai Iced Mocha and the Dragon Fire with muddled ginger and jalapenos.
