Hammond's Horseshoe is the closest casino to Chicago, a fact proven by the heavy turnout of vehicles from Illinois in the parking garage. Inside the boat, however, there are virtually no windows to distract visitors from the more than 2,000 slot machines that range from 5 cents to $100 a spin, and 50 table games. There are blackjack craps tables, as well as American-zero roulette (and double roulette), poker tables (including Caribbean stud, Let It Ride, Three-Card Poker and Caribbean draw) and mini-baccarat. Betting limits at the tables range from $5 to $2,500. Drinks and snacks also are available. In the pavilion are the player's club, a gift shop, Benny's Home Cookin', Village Square Buffet (offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and lots of desserts), and Jack Binion's Steakhouse (offering steaks and seafood). The Horseshoe is permanently docked at the Hammond Marina, so, guests can enter and exit the vessel at anytime.
