Husband-and-wife team (and avid travelers) Mike Maloney, who's worked at The Grafton, and Elaine Toner, who cooked at Blue Water Grill, hope to roll out this global cuisine food truck by early August. The selection of four daily international eats include popular street food snacks from Northern Africa, South America and Central Asia—such as a Peruvian pork sandwich and South African bunny chow, a curried chick pea mix in a bread bowl (FYI, no rabbit is involved). Noodle dishes, hand-held empanadas and cold cuisine selections will be rotated on and off the menu. Patrons can also order the homemade dessert, a dark-chocolate-and-chili mousse with ginger whipped cream. Information on where the red food truck (formerly a utility truck) is headed will be posted on Twitter (Follow @HomageSF).
