This park is almost as old as the neighborhood and so is most of the playground equipment. The playground design is really poor and without any thought to the physical and mental development stimulation of children and families. The fieldhouse is new and pretty good, as is the pool area but not enough, once again, thought to improvement of children and families. It's more of a hangout. There aren't enough hydration spots so bring your own bottles of water. Staff are nice and helpful but the director is somewhat petulant and aloof, to the point of apathy. And forget any financial breaks, they want the dollars but who knows how its accounted for. They didn't disclose their budget when asked and getting on the board is a mystery.
