Halsted HarpLincoln Park | Website
Stop in this pub and you'll likely find either Garrett Diamond or Conor Kelly, two owners (and Irishmen) who met while working at Four Farthings, tending bar. After taking over the previous pub in this address, Slainte, and remodeling it from top to bottom, they renamed it Halsted Harp to give a nod to its loyalties to both Chicago and Ireland (similarly, the bar's logo is a harp layered over a Chicago flag). Nosh on traditional bar eats from quesadillas and fried mushrooms, plus Irish-inspired dishes such as shepherd's pie and fish and chips. Wash it all down with pints of Guinness, Harp or Smithwick's.
