This small library is located in one of the more depressed residential areas of the Grand Boulevard community. The library is a vital refuge for many young people, providing after-school reading programs and games. Under-funded and somewhat under-used, this institution is as much a community center as a public library. The book list and other informational resources are not very impressive, but the staff is helpful and knowledgeable.
