This gay-and-lesbian pub stands alone from the typical Boystown bars, both in location and in character. There’s quite the range of clientele that frequents this dimly-lit neighborhood haunt, but you’ll quickly identify the regulars (mostly local gays and Loyola students), who come back for the cheap drinks, retro jukebox and a side of sassiness from the bartenders. The time-warp effect is apparent as soon as you step inside this hole-in-the-wall storefront, with a stenciled sign so nondescript you just may miss it. During warm weather months, you can find the small crowd on the back patio enjoying beer on draft under $2 or the generously poured mixed drinks.
