In June 2012, Grami was replaced by Canteen, a Mexican-inspired eatery.

The formerly retro-themed bar Reagle Beagle has kicked the kitsch to the curb and is now a more mainstream sports bar and lounge. The name Grami is a mash-up of nearby intersection Grand and Michigan, and the decor is similarly Chicago-inspired, with skyline photos decking the walls. During the day, the bar caters to sports-watchers, Mag Mile workers and tourists, while DJs pump up the volume with pop and Top 40 beats on weekend nights. Eats range from classic (chili-topped Angus burgers)  to creative (cheeseburger spring rolls) and also manage to cover Chicago traditions such as a Chicago-style hot dog and Italian beef sandwich. To drink, draft beer and a selection of flavored sangrias should do the trick.
